 Living Arrangements 

Building on the initiative to "age in place", information in the following topics of interest will help you to sort through the range of options and alternative living arrangements to maintain a good quality of life for your aging family member. You'll learn about steps to take to maintain a safe home environment, assess issues and circumstances related to long distance caregiving, broaden your understanding of community based resources such as the Area Agency on Aging to help guide your decision-making.  You'll also increase your understanding of how to manage medication for your aging family member.  

When the situation does not fully support your family member to remain in their home, you'll gain the necessary knowledge and understanding about choosing alternative living arrangements such as personal care homes, nursing home or assisted living community.
